"Export Control principles and software applications"

Export Control is not only a matter of specialist. Purpose of this seminar is to raise awareness on this critical but underrated topic.

 

A Law firm, an Independent Software Vendor and a company specialized in open source services will share their expertise with regards to export control laws and regulations and practice.

Anna Dias, an attorney for Gide Loyrette & Nouel specialized in Competition and International trade will introduce you to the principles of Export Control. 
Fanny Jolly, Export Compliance Officer for Dassault Systèmes will provide key principles and examples to increase awareness especially around software classification and origin determination.
Linagora, with Raoul Delpech (Director for run and consulting services) and Ludovic Schurr (General Counsel) will share their approach of Export compliance and how their practices lead them to propose some technical solutions to the issues faced by the industry with regards to the origin and the classification of their software.

 

The seminar is co-hosted by Gide, Linagora and the Les France and will take place remotely.
